“Heartless” propels us twenty years into the future, and into the voice of the daughters of the original families. An examination of the power of story telling and community to heal the intergenerational trauma of colonization.
"Heartless" was recorded on the traditional lands of the Anishinabe, the Chippawa, the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, The Haudenosaunee, and the Huron-Wendat Confederacy. The story takes place on the traditional lands of the Kanien'kehaka, and the cast includes artists from many different backgrounds, including Cree, Kanien’kehaka, Métis, Saulteaux, Dene Zaa, Ojibwe, and settler.
